Help Wanted in ESL!

There are two exciting ministries starting up in January of 2008.

The Divorce Recovery program ("A Safe Harbor for Healing") is back for the sixth year, starting on January 27th. The workshop is designed for anyone who has gone through or is going through a divorce, whether in our church family or in the community. Childcare is provided, and you may register by calling the church office or registering online. Find out more!

Then, we are excited to partner with NorthStar Community to offer addiction recovery. On Sunday February 10th at 10:00 a.m., our addiction recovery services begin!  We will be supporting and addressing addiction issues for both individuals and their families.  Many people, just like you and me, are addicted, or are dealing with addiction issues in their lives.  We are here to support any and all people (perhaps even you ) who have decided that they are sick and tired of being sick and tired. The meetings/service will begin with music, food, and fellowship, and a message, followed by support groups.  Everyone is welcome to attend – we all have habits, hang ups, & hurts.

Missions is the essence of the church and it flows out of the two great commandments:

“Love your Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
