Cancer Support

Our desire is to give support and hope to those who are going through treatment for cancer at this time. Current cancer sufferers, cancer survivors and their loved ones are all welcome. A mixture of speakers in an environment of sharing and concern give everyone the support and fellowship needed. This new group just formed in December of 2006.

This group meets on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. All meetings are held in the Prayer Room at Walnut Grove Baptist Church (located beside the sanctuary - come in the door in the connector building at the top of the ramp / steps - turn right and the prayer room will be on your left before you reach the sanctuary). Light refreshments are provided.

The next meeting of the Cancer Support Group will be on Monday, March 5th at 6:30 p.m. in the Prayer Room.

All are welcome -- anyone in our community whose life has been touched by cancer is invited to attend. No registration required - just come and receive the support of others in or have been through your situation.

• Who: Cancer survivors, current cancer sufferers, family members and loved ones of those who have or have had cancer.
• When: First Monday of each month at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 6:30 p.m. in the Prayer Room.
